We recently met the fabulous Bethany from the new but growing quickly community for entrepreneurs EGO. Their tagline is ‘where ambitious women rise together’ and if their first event is anything to go by, it’s definitely going to achieve that!

We spoke to Bethany and how and why she set up EGO and also how she Elevate’s her everyday.

Bethany said: “I started EGO because I wanted to find like-minded women who were eager to learn, grow and support one another, but I couldn’t find one place that offered everything in one: meet-ups, workshops, events, networking and personal development. So I created the group to fill that gap and build a supportive community for women in business, as well as those with a general interest in learning and self-improvement.”

EGO aims to help women navigate areas that can often feel confusing when you’re a founder or just starting out – from marketing and finance to social media, branding and event planning. Members gain the opportunity to share experiences, learn practical skills from guest speakers and build meaningful, long-lasting connections.

“By combining casual meetups with workshops and events focused on real-life business topics, EGO provides practical learning while empowering women to strengthen their mindset, confidence and overall well-being.” added Bethany.

Juggling her own successful businesses alongside EGO doesn’t leave Bethany a lot of time but she is committed to living intentionally.

“I elevate the everyday by slowing down and creating small moments of intention in a busy life. It can be hard to find time for yourself, so I prioritise simple acts of self-care, from meditation to taking my time with my skincare routine. Those moments help me reconnect with myself, my vision and what truly matters instead of constantly rushing toward the next “best” thing.

“I also try to romanticise my life whenever I can. I love dressing up for dinner, appreciating the moment I’m in and treating the ordinary as something special. One thing that really helps me is imagining myself at 90 years old, watching a movie of my own life. It reminds me to be braver, to take the courageous steps I’d normally avoid out of fear of failure or feeling cringe and to choose experiences I’d be proud to look back on.

“Ultimately, I elevate the everyday by remembering that this is my one life and it’s up to me to follow my own dreams and make it feel meaningful, joyful and uniquely mine.”
