2026 is the you to get Orjenise-d – 100 day challenge will set you free from clutter.

Orjenise 100 is a daily challenge to get rid of 100 items across the month of January.  It only takes 5-10 minutes a day and if you miss a day you can easily catch up.

The only rule is 100 items out. Participants can follow along or concentrate on an area they want to sort instead.

This brilliant concept is the brain child of Jenn Jordan, a professional organiser and someone I am sure we can all learn from as we tackle the piles of presents and get organised for 2026.

We met up with Jenn to discuss how she became a professional organiser, how she developed Orjenise and how we can all have an orjenise-d 2026.

Jenn wasn’t always an organised person. In her late 20’s she developed a series of systems to deal with her own chaos. The success of these not only transformed her own life, but led to friends and family asking for help, and, from here a business was born.

Jenn explained. “I was  not always an organised person. I shopped a lot, kept most things and struggled to find items around my home. I read the Marie Kondo book ‘The Magic of Tidying up’ and started to go through my stuffed home.

“The act of decluttering, organising my home and changing my purchasing habits was life changing. Other people started asking for my help and then the business grew from there. I now teach other people how to be tidy and more mindful shoppers. I still love stuff I just bring a lot less in. Being orjenised isn’t about being a minimalist, I tried that and it wasn’t for me.

“I was diagnosed with ADHD last year. Organising was very much a coping mechanism for my own chaos. These systems I stress tested for years and perfected.  Now, I organise other people using these methods, which work whether you are neurodiverse or not.

“I work in Yorkshire and London offering hands on decluttering and creating systems to help people fall back in love with their homes. ( Prices from £325 in Yorkshire)

This time of year people can get carried away and take on too much. Jenn understands this and advises to start small.

Jenn added: “If you are doing your own home, take it slowly and do 30 minutes to an hour at a time.  What we tend to do is try to do a huge area at once, get overwhelmed and then stuff it all back. Taking it slowly, having a charity bag on the go all the time so that when you no longer want something it has somewhere to go will help.  If you are going to start small Orjenise 100 offers many areas that will inspire you.
