Harvey Nichols is in the process of a bit of a glow up, or, as they like to say Harvey Nichols – Back in Fashion.
I have an over 20 year dysfunctional relationship with Harvey Nichols – I just love the brand, the people and the overall character of the place. I have worked there (twice) freelanced for them, hosted events with them and… there’s more in the pipeline.
This article is written on the back of a great client (oh yeah, I’m one of them too!) event I went to recently that was all about elevate everyday quiet luxury. New brands and a slightly new direction for Harvey Nichols where the focus is on a curated edit of the best everyday pieces for real women to wear. Don’t worry, the heels, the dresses, the jewellery, they are all there too.
These are the women behind the new vision. Beautiful, intelligent working women, and that’s who they are wanting to dress.. and I am very happy about it too!

If, like me, you began your relationship with personal style bac kin the 90’s a jeans and a nice top look might bring flashbacks of a Mischa Barton, Paris Hilton kind of vibe… don’t worry, we’ve come a long way.
Yes, that’s not how we are going to do it… this is.
