This week, we’re wintering.
Did you whip your tree down early doors, or wait for today? I haven’t been able to as I love the lights so much, which is why I am doubling down on candles. I keep explaining to my husband the electricity bill will be tiny with all of my candles… hes not convinced!
I also seem to have more washing than ever before (love having house guests, hate the bedding and towels) so decided to upgrade the detergent which definitely elevates the washing… it hardly turns it into nirvana but, every little helps!
And, it’s freezing, so whilst I would love to be getting enthusiastic about spring fashion, I am very much still embracing the fur (faux!)
With a new notebook and a beautiful bath oil, it’s not a bad start to 2026.
Oh, I forgot to say, at 46 I realised that, if Father Christmas doesn’t bring you what you want, it doesn’t mean you’re not on the good list… it just means you have to buy it yourself. Little pearl earrings from me to me!
