In our opinion, along with Martha Stewart Founded by Chrissie Rucker OBE is the original lifestyle influencer and, we are influenced again this season.
After over 30 years The White Company’s AW26 collection nails the brief of ‘what do I want to wear everyday’. It’s defined by texture, tactility and modern ease. This collection brings together richly textured fabrics, softly rounded silhouettes and elevated everyday dressing.

Inspired by the creativity of the dynamic communities emerging across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the Highlands, this collection re-imagines classic heritage styles and a true celebration of autumnal fabrications. It balances comfort with refinement through protective layers and brushed surfaces sit alongside fluid proportions, sculptural knitwear and a palette of winter whites, warm neutrals and
rich earthy tones. Shades of porcelain, Scandi white, mushroom, rye, eucalyptus and dark chocolate create a softer alternative to black, bringing warmth and depth throughout the collection.
Outerwear takes centre stage. Oversized silhouettes, cocoon shapes and enveloping funnel necks define a collection of coats designed to be worn with ease. Highlights include double-faced wool coats, relaxed wool and cashmere blends, statement mohair styles, sculptural cocoon coats and an elevated Mackintosh. Rich leather pieces, from a contemporary trench cape to a funnel-neck bomber
jacket, introduce a confident, modern edge.
At the heart of the collection remains knitwear. Brushed yarns, soft bouclés and tactile fibres bring depth and dimension to every look, with knitwear designed to feel as luxurious as it looks. Hero pieces include the Brushed Funnel-Neck Cardigan and the Brushed Cable Jumper, whose soft, cloud like texture and sculptural silhouettes embody the season’s focus on comfort, warmth and craftsmanship. Cashmere remains a signature, elevated through contemporary shapes, refined detailing and a palette grounded in rich neutrals. A new silhouette emerges across the collection through the barrel trouser.

Appearing across denim, jersey and casual bottoms, the shape introduces a relaxed yet directional proportion that feels
modern and effortless. The Jersey Barrel Trouser becomes a standout wardrobe staple, while the Side Stripe Barrel Trouser balances comfort with a considered, fashion-led silhouette.
Accessories have had a renews focus this season, with knitted finishing touches becoming key styling pieces in their own right. The collection embraces the idea of layering through tactile accessories, with the Ribbed Snood and Cable Hood emerging as hero pieces. Designed to offer both warmth and versatility, they bring softness and texture to every look.
Throughout the collection, a heightened awareness of materiality remains central. Brushed alpaca blends, responsibly sourced wool, certified cashmere, recycled fibres and carefully considered fabric innovations reflect The White Company’s commitment to creating pieces with longevity, beauty and purpose.
