Def: A playful urge to buy things. Usually triggered by a change in weather, here, it can be anything. When they hit, the shoppies hit and who are we to argue?!
Today’s shoppies are triggered by the clocks changing, half term, a big storm and a sudden desire to be one of two things – ultra cosy or super glam.
As always, before you indulge, think about your life, your wardrobe and your diary before indulging in the shoppies… we’re not here to judge, just give a little advice and that is that there is little point buying floor length gowns if your idea of a great social gathering is a cosy super at home with friends.
Or, in my case, if you actually don’t like being cold, or showing lots of flesh, then don’t buy the skimpy tops!
This week we have the most beautiful candle subscription that’s bringing a lot of joy to the Elevate home, the evolution of the pj bottoms/ harem trousers and layers and layers of cashmere.
Cashmere really is the ultimate in elevated everyday. A hug in a jumper that looks as good as it feels. These two are different takes on the classic grey.
This is a new brand to me but I love it all. Just the right side of quirky.
