Whether you believe in the power of the moon and seasons is a personal choice. For some of us we will be marketing this weekends’ Autumn Equinox with some quiet time to be grateful for what has been and set intentions for the next six months.
The autumn equinox is a time of profound significance, symbolizing balance, transformation, and the interconnectedness of all things. It is a reminder to honour our inner selves, release what no longer serves us, and prepare for the quieter, introspective days ahead. This celestial event invites us to reflect on personal growth, acknowledge the harvest of the past season, and set intentions for the upcoming year. It is a time to let go of old patterns, fears, or attachments, paving the way for transformation and personal evolution.
Whether you want to link this ceremony to the moon, or just take some self-care time to regroup, now is the prefect time to do it.
As the seasons change, so do we. Our needs, desires and daily routines eb and flow with the seasons and if we acknowledge, respect and work with these changes we will feel more in our flow.
You don’t have to dance around a fire naked and then fly off on a broom!
Why not try these easy steps to a beautiful autumn equinox.
1.Carve out some time for you. A calm place where you wont be interrupted. I like the bath, others like their bed, or, maybe a place that feels special (weather dependent) like the beach or a park.
2. Make the space yours. Think about all of your senses. Add candle light to bring a glow to the space and choose a scent that you enjoy. Wear comfortable clothes and maybe a warm blanket too. Try to tidy the space so there is no pile of washing or paperwork to distract you.
3.Get out a notebook and pen (they don’t have to be new, but, you know, a new notebook is always a good idea!)
4. Try a meditation, there are lots of free ones on line or low cost options. Find one that speaks to you.
I am currently loving Your Golden Flame Meditation Manifesting Your True Essence in 2025 and Estelle’s book is one I dip into on a daily basis. MANIFESTATION
