As wellness continues to shape the future of luxury travel, JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa is expanding its immersive wellbeing offering with the launch of the JW Crete Wellness Residency. From July to October, four internationally acclaimed wellness specialists — Kimberley Noble, Satya Morillas, Eduardo Sierra Garcia and João Santos — will join the resort for exclusive two-week residencies.
Designed to provide guests with access to top tier therapeutic experts, the residency programme will introduce a diverse range of experiences spanning osteopathy, physiotherapy, pilates, acupuncture, energy healing, emotional wellbeing, dry massage and movement therapies. Each practitioner will offer personalised treatments, workshops and consultations available exclusively during their residency at the resort.
Set along Crete’s dramatic northern coastline, JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa has established itself as one of the Mediterranean’s most compelling wellness destinations, where restorative travel experiences are woven throughout every aspect of the guest journey. Home to the holistic Anoseas Spa, the resort combines cutting-edge wellness expertise with the healing traditions of Crete through an extensive treatment menu and partnerships with leading wellness brands including Margaret Dabbs London, Swissline, Aromatherapy Associates, SeaSkin Life and Bioaroma Crete. This year marks the hotel’s first full season and the Visiting Practitioner Series further strengthens the resort’s commitment to delivering meaningful, expert-led wellbeing experiences within a luxury hospitality setting.
The programme begins with Kimberley Masin, who will be in residence from 14–28 July. An experienced osteopath and movement specialist, Kimberley’s practice combines structural alignment, nervous system regulation and functional movement to support long-term wellbeing. Guests can book bespoke osteopathy sessions (€295 for 60 minutes / €445 for 90 minutes), lymphatic drainage treatments (€240–€295), craniosacral nervous system reset therapies (€240–€295) and facial rejuvenation acupuncture (€240–€395). Kimberley will also lead private restorative yoga and Pilates movement classes (€320 for private or duo sessions), alongside a curated three-day wellness package (€1,500) combining movement, treatments and personalised follow-up guidance.
From 23 July–6 August, guests can experience the holistic approach of Satya Morillas Mir, an integrative wellness practitioner with more than two decades of experience in alternative medicine and mind-body therapies. Originally trained as a registered nurse, Satya combines clinical understanding with acupuncture, Reiki, breathwork, meditation, EMDR emotional processing and Chi Nei Tsang abdominal therapy. Signature experiences include personalised holistic wellness sessions (€360), auriculo therapy and acupuncture (€240), Reiki energy alignment (€240), Breathwork using The Breath Act® method (€300), and emotional integration sessions using EMDR (€360). Guests can also access complimentary meditation introductions, breathwork sessions for nervous system regulation and yoga classes throughout her residency.
Joining the resort from 2–14 August, Eduardo Sierra García brings a specialised focus on musculoskeletal health, movement rehabilitation and performance optimisation. Having worked with leading luxury wellness destinations including Six Senses, Soneva, One&Only and Nihi, Eduardo offers a range of evidence-based therapies designed to improve mobility, alleviate pain and support long-term physical wellbeing. Treatments include functional osteopathy (€210), physiotherapy and pain-relief massage therapy (€200), sports massage and recovery treatments (€200), signature personal training sessions (€210) and Pilates classes for individuals or small groups (€200). Guests can also experience his sought-after SFDT Sculpturing Face Deep Tissue facial therapy (€210), which combines aesthetic rejuvenation with deep tissue techniques.
The series concludes with João Santos, in residence from 16–30 September. A globally recognised dry massage specialist and wellness consultant, João has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hospitality brands, including Aman, Four Seasons, Six Senses, Soneva, Waldorf Astoria and SHA Wellness Clinic. His signature methodology blends Eastern massage traditions with contemporary anatomical understanding, focusing on neuro-myofascial release, mobility enhancement and deep physical restoration. Guests can experience his renowned Dry Massage treatments (€215), Signature Massage (€260), Foot Reflexology (€195) and Express Dry Massage (€130), all designed to improve posture, release chronic tension and restore physical balance.
